“Sometimes we get sad about things and we don’t like to tell other people that we are sad about them. We like to keep it a secret. Or sometimes, we are sad but we really don’t know why we are sad, so we say we aren’t sad but we really are.” — Mark Haddon, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

16 steps to improve your body image
- 1. Remove unhealthy conditioning. Get rid of fashion magazines, change the channel during commercial breaks, etc.
- 2. Replace with healthy conditioning. Hang pictures of beautiful women with diverse body types, follow body positive blogs, etc.
- 3. GET NAKED. Spend some time getting comfortable with your body.
- 4. Don't be so critical of others. This only breeds criticism in ourselves. Accept others, accept yourself.
- 5. Don't allow yourself to think negative thoughts. Pretend you love yourself, and eventually you will.
- 6. Accept compliments. Learn to just say, "Thank you," rather than brushing them off.
- 7. Compliment yourself. purposefully list the things that you like about yourself.
- 8. TAKE LOTS OF SELFIES, UNTIL YOU LOVE THEM ALL.
- 9. Wear the clothes that make you feel beautiful. Regardless of what others think.
- 10. Do your hair and makeup the way that YOU like.
- 11. Spend some time alone doing the things that you like to do. (Masturbate. A lot.)
- 12. Treat yourself to something nice.
- 13. Wear sexy underwear even if no one else will see them.
- 14. Surround yourself with people who build you up.
- 15. Confront the people who tear you down, and cut them out of your life.
- 16. Always ask yourself "Why do I feel this way? Who says this isn't beautiful?"

Aphorisms
“I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.”

Serves 1
1 pink grapefruit
¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
Pinch of cardamom (optional)
Pinch of nutmeg (optional)

STEAK AND SPINACH SALAD
PHASE 2
Serves 1
4 to 5 ounces New York strip steak
½ teaspoon minced garlic
½ teaspoon sea salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups chopped fresh spinach
½ cup chopped cucumber
¼ cup chopped red onion
¼ cup chopped red or green chile pepper
¼ cup chopped red bell pepper
½ lime, squeezed
1 to 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
2 to 4 tablespoons Phase 2 Salad Dressing (below)
Preheat the broiler, and put the broiler pan in to get hot. Trim excess fat off the steak. Rub both sides of the steak with the garlic, salt, and pepper. Place the meat in the hot broiler pan and broil to desired doneness, 7 to 15 minutes (you can butterfly or slice the steak in half if you want it well done without charring the outside). While the steak broils, toss the spinach, cucumber, onion, chile, and bell pepper together in a large salad bowl. Top the mixture with the lime juice and cilantro. Set aside. Slice the steak into 1½- inch strips and serve on top of the salad and veggie mix. Drizzle with dressing before serving.

Sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper

Sunday. family day.
though were not really complete, my family (less krystal) went to to dined at Lugang Cafe in the mall of asia, and tried out there fine dining cuisines, which made our tummies bloat.
lets see, a rate of 7 to 8 in their house specialties,
i tried out their hot milk tea which reminds me of hongkong's milk tea. same same.
but their vegetarian dumplings and fried pancakes were all superb! *thumbs up!
compare to hapchan and david's tea house? this is more worth-it, though the price range really justifies our tastebuds. ha ha!
their employees were all friendly and properly trained if i should say, over all satisfying.
we'll be going back soon for sure. :)

LIFE
Where there is desire
There is gonna be a flame
Where there is a flame
Someone’s bound to get burned
But just because it burns doesn’t mean you’re gonna die
